ONLINE LIVE DAY FRIDAY 2ND OCTOBER INCLUDES RECORDING

SUITABLE FOR STUDENTS, THERAPISTS AND QUALIFIED HELPING PROFESSIONALS

Includes day recording, slides, ondemand access for 365 days, primer recordings and CPD Certificate (10 hours including additional recorded material)

This is a participant didactic and experiential day for new students, therapists, supervisors and tutors wanting to start the new training year by embedding into themselves a whole model which will enable them to embed matters of social and personal context, normativity, diversity and EDI into their day-to-day learning, supervision and tutoring (as per SCOPED requirements). This day is based on the book A New Introduction to Counselling and Psychotherapy and the pedagogy of the Wholeness Solution. It aims to move the learning and practice culture of the profession (irrespective of theoretical orientation) towards universal context, diversity and equity by design, rather than as an add-on, without which can lead to poorer student experiences, harm and, ultimately, negative impacts on client outcomes in general and more so for most decentred worldviews, knowledge, mind-bodies, identities and cultures.

It aims to move the learning and practice of the profession (irrespective of theoretical orientation) towards a universal consideration of context, diversity, and equity by design rather than as an add-on. Without this, there is a risk of poorer student experiences, tutor stress, harm, and ultimately negative impacts on client outcomes, particularly for those with decentred worldviews, mind–body experiences, identities, and cultures.
